《胶囊计划》由来自各行业、具有成熟动画制作经验的专业团队，不限形式、风格完成独立短片创作。这是中国原创动画的一次探索，每部作品都是中国动画的一个创意脑洞。 第二季利用短片特点拓展了观众对于国产动画的想象，既有探讨科技意识的科幻片、也有聚焦女性自我表达于和解的成长片、更有对弱势群体的人文关怀片，画风更是囊括了国风水墨、吉卜力式绘本风、黑白高反差的复古风。。An astronaut comes back to Earth and crashes in a field, incredibly irradiated and wreaking havoc. Just as they have him cornered, he disappears, and the "real" astronaut is found 7,500 miles away in the Pacific Ocean, "alive, well, and of normal size."。In a decaying America, 20 years after an apocalyptic event, Pike leads Ruby, Slim, Scar, and Boots through the wasteland towards the town of Jawbone in hopes of finding shelter, and to confront the evil Magistrate. But will they make it to Jawbone? And what will they find when they get there?。
