阿杰 (林利) 因贪污而被判入狱，对一切人和事都感陌生，幸刚入狱，便得老监犯文长 (吴孟达) 照顾，他想帮杰在狱中免被欺负，但杰不理，杰刚入仓第一天便得罪了狱中恶人九叔 (关海山) ，被打成重伤。 他被打後也不敢出声，因此免於再被重伤。但由於他不依监房习惯埋堆，使他在狱中孤立，虽有文长照顾他，仍不时被打欺负。在一次与人打斗後，九叔却忽然帮他出面，之後他决定成为文长手下。 刘姑娘在狱中教堂宣道，文长却输赌她的内裤是甚麼颜色，刘姑娘发现此事，揭起裙子大发雷霆，指自己入过女童院又当过娼妓，恨各人戏弄她，将各人赶走。 文长因为输赌输了给威哥 (李兆基) ，要赔烟给阿威，各人外出工作时，乘乱外出赌钱买烟，却因为钟坏了，迟了回工地，累及同仓囚犯全被严查。此事连累阿杰亦被锁入水饭房，连其母给他的钱亦被惩教员拿走。 文长与杰因为连累他人被查，每人要捱打一场，文长受不...。倾覆沉没的钻井平台，顺流直冲的运油车头，直坠入海的满载客机，交通海上应急反应特勤队队长高谦、机长方宇凌和绞车手赵呈一次次带领队伍第一时间冲往事故现场，站在水火咆哮的最前面，守在危急撤离的最后面，用生命对抗天灾人祸。但在自然面前，特勤员毕竟没有超能力，血肉之躯踩在死亡边缘，真实的恐惧无数次让这些斗士颤抖、无助和气馁。而海上救援的字典里没有“退缩”。当你听见旋翼的轰鸣、洪亮的汽笛、马达的飞驰，那是他们无惧艰难险阻，舍己为人，谱写的一曲英雄之歌。。SYNOPSIS Urgently called, the police inspector has arrived in a hotel, and didn't find any crime, but noticed some strangenesses occurring there. (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。
